"To The Big River" was recorded and mixed by Matthew Wilcox in the winter of 2011. It features the new member Crisanta Baker, as well as guest musicians Gabriel Jorgenson (Cello), Matt Wilcox (Keys & Guitar), and Justin Renaud (Vocals). The recording process was photographed by Luca Venter.

'To The Big River' features re-recordings of three tracks from 2010's "Goodnight To The Night" (Night Birds, The Night My Fever Broke, Wild Animals) as well as five previously unreleased tracks. The artwork is a projection photographed by good friend Emma Kisiel.

The album was mastered by David Glasser at AIRSHOW Mastering in Boulder, Colorado.

Indian Summer was left off the upcoming album, but we didn't want to let it disappear, so we got together with some friends and recorded in one take, live.

The track was recorded by Matthew Wilcox at the end of our recording process in March of 2011. It features guest singers Crisanta Baker, Paul Lathrop Wineinger, Mandi Tully, Emily Rhodes, and Gabriel Jorgenson. It was released digitally on March 14th, 2011.

"The Glowing Light" is the the band's Christmas song for 2010.

The track was recorded on various laptops in the last few days of 2010. It features guest singer Lauren Hardin and some mastering help from Justin Renaud. It was released digitally on December 22th, 2010.

"Blackest Eyes" is a teaser EP containing three recordings from the limited run of the 2010 EP "Goodnight To The Night"

Recorded over the summer of 2010 by Jonathan Alonzo of Act So Big Forest. It was released digitally on November 19th, 2010, coinciding with the band's first run of shirts, and a limited edition screen printed poster.

"Goodnight To The Night" was the first album recorded by Jay J Matott & The Arctic.
